Freeware Fonts by GorillaBlu
We don't have the whole collection by GorillaBlu, but the ones folk seem to look for most (Blue's Clues, Pooh Bear and New Pooh, ScooBats, RugBats, etc) are here. These are original versions (dated 1998-99) before the name was changed to Dingbrat's Dingbats, when it's possible they were updated. We believe the creator, Jenna (also JLRWeb), was later responsible for the Font Party site. The graphic above is a reduced version of one used on the original GorillaBlu page.
Fonts are in TrueType format. If you have difficulty extracting files from the zip, you may need to download WinZip or a similar utility. For help with unzipping your files and installing fonts, see links on our installation page. NOTE: if unable to view the font samples, JavaScript may be disabled in your browser.
Previews show selected outlines, not full character sets, and are low resolution images only.
Further fonts and resources: London Stokes has also made several alphadings featuring characters such as Pooh, Blue's Clues, the RugRats, ScoobyDoo etc. If you don't find what you want on her main pages (three of them as of 8/07, with the fonts arranged alphabetically), try the List page where all fonts are listed, including older releases no longer featured individually (it may be helpful there to use the 'Find' facility from the Edit menu in your browser, as it's a long list by date of release rather than alphabetical). You may need to download a month's fonts to get what you want (for example, Looking for Blue's Clues is in the October 2002 zip), but what the heck if it has the one you need!
Note: so far as we're aware the GorillaBlu fonts were always freely available, and there was no readme indicating otherwise in the zip files as saved. Having said that, 'freeware' usually means 'for personal use only', and copyright still resides with the author and/or any third parties (e.g. Viacom) who own the images from which fonts like some of the ones above are derived.
